Daniel Dumey

BENTON, Mo. -- Daniel Dumey, son of the late Ervin and Bertha Elizabeth Ledure Dumey, was born June 21, 1947, in Cape Girardeau and departed this life Thursday, December 16, 2021, at his home in Benton at the age of 74 years.

Daniel was the owner and operator of Dumey Contracting Inc. and Missouri Machine and Plow LLC. He a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton.

On Nov. 13, 1965, he was united in marriage to Brenda Kay Enderle in the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg, Missouri. She survives of the home in Benton.

Besides his wife, survivors include a son, Danny (Tracy) Dumey Jr. of Benton; two daughters, Malinda Kay (Jarrett) Milam of Benton and Andrea Renee (Mark) Foeste of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday at St. Denis Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, the Dumey family requests all memorials be made out to St. Denis Catholic School or St. Augustine Catholic School.
