Daniel Bridges

Daniel Joseph Bridges, 64, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, at his home.

He was born Dec. 13, 1956, in Jonesboro, Illinois, to Opal Marie and Otis Thomas Bridges.

Dan was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a retired union painter.

He is survived by his mother, Opal Horsley; son, Dana Smith; grandchildren, Louis and Amelia; brother Tom (Kathy) Bridges; half sisters, Tracy Bridges Moore and Tammy Bridges; brother-in-law, Neil Hollenberg; and several aunts, nieces and nephews.

Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Bridges; brother, Ron Bridges; sister, Ann Bridges Hollenberg; stepfather, William Horsley; and his father.

There will be no service. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
