Daniel Wayne Bailey, 40, was born Sept. 2, 1971, in Dexter, Mo., and departed this life on Jan. 7, 2012, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Survivors include Brent, Brent Jr., Stacey and Levi Bradley of the home; his parents, Paul Glenn and Margaret Emma Hale Bradley of Doniphan, Mo.; nieces, Nikki and Bianca Bailey, both of Doniphan, and Rachael (Derrick) Ragle of Qulin, Mo.; three brothers, LaRoy Bailey and his children, Alyssa and Braiden, Lenny Bailey and his children, Kimber and Kyle, and Damon Bailey, all of Doniphan; his dear friends, Blye Galemore and Jennifer Deaton, both of Jackson, Gaye Cooper of Dexter and Kim Frost of West Plains, Mo. ...

Daniel Wayne Bailey, 40, was born Sept. 2, 1971, in Dexter, Mo., and departed this life on Jan. 7, 2012, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Survivors include Brent, Brent Jr., Stacey and Levi Bradley of the home; his parents, Paul Glenn and Margaret Emma Hale Bradley of Doniphan, Mo.; nieces, Nikki and Bianca Bailey, both of Doniphan, and Rachael (Derrick) Ragle of Qulin, Mo.; three brothers, LaRoy Bailey and his children, Alyssa and Braiden, Lenny Bailey and his children, Kimber and Kyle, and Damon Bailey, all of Doniphan; his dear friends, Blye Galemore and Jennifer Deaton, both of Jackson, Gaye Cooper of Dexter and Kim Frost of West Plains, Mo. Daniel also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles and cousins that he thought dearly of.

Daniel was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Ann Bailey; his maternal grandparents, Duncan Henry and Mary Myrtle Hale; and his paternal grandparents, John Clarence and Iva Iona Bailey.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. Daniel is an inspiration to all of us who know and love him. He is gone but not forgotten. We love you, Daniel.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Mo. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at the chapel, with the Rev. David Israel officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
