CAIRO, Ill. -- Dan L. Burris, 49, of Glendale Heights, Ill., formerly of Cairo, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at Glen Oaks Hospital in Glendale Heights.
He was born Sept. 26, 1951, in Anna, Ill., son of Wayne and Glenda Ilene Penrod Burris.
Burris served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Coleen; a stepdaughter, Angela Perez of Addison, Ill.; a stepson, Robert Cassady of Glendale Heights; his mother of Cairo; two brothers, Lonnie Burris of Cairo, and Darrell Burris of Carterville, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 10 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Terry Penix will officiate. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery near Dongola, Ill.
