Dallena Ruth

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Dallena Ruth, 81, of Jonesboro died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at City Care Center in Anna, Ill.

She was born Oct. 28, 1924, daughter of Ben and Eva Hancock Williams. She married Andrew "Andy" Ruth, who died Dec. 18, 1979.

Ruth retired as a licensed practical nurse from Choate Mental Health.

Survivors include a sister, Gladys James of West Frankfort, Ill.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery south of Marion, Ill.
