DALLAS WALLACE

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for John Dallas Wallace of Sikeston will be held at 3 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home prior to service.

Wallace, 91, died Thursday, May 25, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 22, 1903, in Advance, son of Bill and Leona Wallace. He and Martha Wallace were married Nov. 10, 1928. She died Feb. 11, 1995.

Wallace had worked at International Shoe Co., and was an ordained Baptist minister. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, John Wallace of Romeoville, Ill.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
