Dallas Probst

The funeral for Dallas Probst of Fort Worth, Texas, was held Sept. 21 at Greenwood Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Probst, 75, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, in Fort Worth.

He was born July 13, 1927, in Cape Girardeau, son of Fred and Blanche Probst.

Probst was employed at General Dynamics 36 years, retiring in 1985. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Probst; two daughters, Theresa Cockerham of Fort Worth, Loyce Pursley of Wichita Falls, Texas; five brothers, Larry, Jerry, Bill, Harold and Mike Probst, all of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Ersie Harris of Chesterfield, Mo.; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, and a grandson.
