SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Dallas Edward "Puddin" Dover of Scott City will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Bill Dickey will officiate, with burial in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 4 p.m. today.

Dover, 52, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 19, 1943, at Scott City, son of Raymond E. and Verda Meisenheimer Dover.

Dover was a member of Laborers Local 282.

Survivors include his fiancee, Sharon Venable of Scott City; two sons, Dallas "Eddie" Dover II of Scott City, Scott Dover of Fruitland; two daughters, Amy Ressel of Scott City, Robin Dover of Fruitland; his mother of Scott City; three brothers, Collin Dover of Birmingham, Ala., Gary and Eldon Dover of Scott City; a sister, Mary Sprenger of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
