DALE WHITE JR.

ESSEX -- Howard Dale White Jr., 35, of Essex died Sunday, Aug. 10, 1997, at Baptist Central Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.

He was born April 15, 1962, in Sikeston, son of Howard Dale and Bobbie Jean King White Sr. He and Marsha Gay Phillips were married Feb. 4, 1994, in Sikeston.

White was a 1980 graduate of Sikeston High School. He was a salesman with Dale White Auto Sales and SEMO Motor Co. 18 years. He was chairman of the board of directors of Wendell Apartments and member of Trinity Baptist Church, both in Sikeston.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Howard White III and Johnathon White of Essex; a daughter, Christina White of Essex; his mother of Sikeston; a brother, Dennis White of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; a sister, Deborah Sallings of Alton; and paternal grandfather, Oadus White of New Madrid.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Tom Geers and Neal Wagley officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
