Dale Gene Springer, 54, 541 Landis, died Monday, Sept. 23, 1996, at his home. He was born June 1, 1942, at Menfro, son of Louis C. and Isabell A. Mehner Springer. Springer was a 1960 graduate of Central High School. He had worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. 36 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and served in Missouri National Guard...

Dale Gene Springer, 54, 541 Landis, died Monday, Sept. 23, 1996, at his home.

He was born June 1, 1942, at Menfro, son of Louis C. and Isabell A. Mehner Springer.

Springer was a 1960 graduate of Central High School. He had worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. 36 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and served in Missouri National Guard.

Survivors include a brother, Willard Springer of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Laverne Gockel and Irene Springer of Cape Girardeau; and Geraldine Ackman of Sikeston.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Church, with the Rev. David V. Dissen officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
