Dale Oslund Jr.

ANNA, Ill. -- Dale O. Oslund Jr., 44, of Anna died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at his home.

He was born April 21, 1958, in Aurora, Ill., son of Dale O. and Donna Jean Hubbard Oslund Sr. He and Karen D. Collman were married Oct. 5, 1978, in Aurora.

Oslund was employed by village of Cobden until becoming ill.

He served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Dale "Butch" Oslund III of Fort Bragg, N.C.; a daughter, Stephanie Bradley of Anna; his parents of Owatonna, Minn.; four sisters, Deana Oslund of Aurora, Doreen Culver, Debra Johnson and Darla Oslund, all of Owatonna.

He was preceded in death by a brother and his grandparents.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clifford Heil officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery, with full military honors by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
