GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Dale Kirkpatrick, 68, of Doniphan, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at his home.
He was born Sept. 24, 1936, at Grassy, Mo., son of William Joseph and Zola Marie Newell Kirkpatrick. He and Betty Cobb were married in 1955. He later married Betty Hudson Smith June 23, 1999.
Formerly of Glenallen, Kirkpatrick was an over-the-road truck driver.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gerry "Bo" Kirkpatrick of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; five daughters, Cindy Hart and Kimberly Sisco of Doniphan, Carol Becker and Judy Kirkpatrick of Poplar Bluff, Pam LeBanca of Bellflower, Mo.; a brother, Charles Kirkpatrick of DeSoto, Mo.; a twin sister, Gayle Sitze of Bethalto, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo., from noon Sunday until time of service.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Friendship Cemetery at Grassy.
