PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Dale G. "Bud" Huber, 79, of Perryville died Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Independence Care Center.
He was born Aug. 27, 1931, in Perry County, son of Vallie and Elva Rabold Huber. He and Pat Hennemann were married April 7, 1956, at Crosstown, Mo.
Huber was a farmer. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, life member of American Legion Post 133, life member of VFW Post 4282 and a life member of AMVETS.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Huber; three daughters, Kay (Greg) Riney of Perryville, Nina (Lee) Sanders of St. Charles, Mo., Susan (Andy) Krauss of Perryville; four sons, Kim, Alan, Edward Dale, Joseph (Cindy) Huber, all of Perryville; a brother, Larry (Kathy) Huber of Perryville; two sisters, June (Corky) Lueckel and Patsy Huber of Perryville; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. Saturday at Miller Family Funeral Home. An AMVETS service will be held at 7 tonight, followed by the parish wake service at 7:30. The rosary will be recited at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, with graveside military honors courtesy of VFW Post 4282 and Delta Team.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent School System, American Heart Association, Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
