SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Dale H. White of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Tom Geers will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
White, 67, died Sunday, May 8, 1994, at the University of Tennessee William F. Bowld Hospital in Memphis.
He was born May 3, 1927, at Gray Ridge, son of O.G. and Grace Horn White. He and Bobbie Jean King were married Aug. 27, 1960, at Scott City.
White worked at SEMO Motors 28 years, and then owned and operated Dale White Auto Sales. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, American Legion Post 114, Eagles Lodge 2819, and Eagles Aerie 4206.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dennis and Dale White Jr. of Sikeston; a daughter, Deborah Stallings of Wynne, Ark.; his father of Essex; a sister, June Barton of Catron, and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
