Dale Henry Copeland, 47, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Nov. 18, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, son of Henry "Jake" and Oma C. Eudy Copeland. He and Peggy Louise Spradling were married Dec. 28, 1980, in Cape Girardeau.
Copeland was a welder, having worked 17 years at Cape Manufacturing and eight years at Old Hickory Pits.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kristina and Amanda Copeland of Cape Girardeau; his father of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Donald Copeland of Cape Girardeau, David Copeland of Chaffee, Mo., Danny Copeland of Jackson; a sister, Donna Smith of Four Seasons, Mo.; and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Revs. Al Hoernig and Clarence Bogetto will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
