Francis Dale Cassout, 73, of Scott City died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 9, 1936, at Gray's Point, Mo., to Francis William and Elizabeth Ann Lindemann Cassout.
Cassout was a mechanic at Twin City Autos and also worked in construction.
He is survived by three sisters, Juanita Medley of Scott City, Darlene Schoen of Bokchito, Okla., Sally Cotton of Chaffee, Mo.; 10 nieces and nephews; 24 great-nieces and nephews; and 26 great-great-nieces and nephews.
His parents, a brother, and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
