DAISY NUNN

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Daisy Marshall Nunn, 71, of East Prairie died Monday, Aug. 20, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born Oct. 23, 1929, in Mississippi County, daughter of G.M. and Bessie Hockersmith Allen. She and Charles Roy Nunn were married Sept. 14, 1946, in Hernando, Miss. He died June 24, 1999.

Nunn was a lifelong resident of Mississippi County, and attended Elm Street Baptist Church in Charleston, Mo.

Survivors include three sons, Gary, Glen and Greg Nunn, all of East Prairie; four daughters, Regina Weakley, Betsy Bailey and Sandy Newsome, all of East Prairie, Renissa Nunn of Charleston; three brothers, Bill, G.W. and Leondas Allen, all of East Prairie; two sisters, Maxine Lester of Bertrand, Mo., Vivian Watson of East Prairie; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jon Archie will officiate. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
