Daisy Belle McGee, 88, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born in Caraway, Arkansas, the daughter of Bert and Emma Lee Byrn Pennington. Daisy and Claude E. McGee were united in marriage in January 1954. He preceded her in death Dec. 1, 1995.
She worked as a self-employed child care provider. She enjoyed playing piano for churches in the Cape Girardeau area throughout the years. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Dean Goldsmith and Tee McGee; grandchildren, Amber (Jason) Robbins, Les Goldsmith, Dan (Shana) Goldsmith, Emma McGee, Parker McGee and Chase McGee; six great-grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Stephanie McGee.
Daisy was preceded in death by her son, Edward McGee; father, Bert Pennington; mother, Emma Lee Pennington; and her husband, Claude E McGee.

Cremation arrangements were under the care of Ford and Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Missouri.
