JACKSON -- Daisy Irene Langley, 88, of Jackson, formerly of Poplar Bluff, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 31, 1910, at De Soto, Ill. She and Jessie Thomas Langley were married on Feb. 14, 1947. He died Jan. 10, 1972.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Bluff City United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Hays of Jackson and Darold Hays of Kansas City; a daughter, Verna Roebuck of Jackson; a brother, Loren Leonard of Yale, Mich.; five sisters, Virginia Martin of St. Ann, Bessie Pogue of Swartz Creek, Mich., Winfree Jolfs of Macomb, Ill., Ora Brown of Yale and Geraldine Lunqwitz of St. Louis.
Friends may call at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, beginning at 7 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. Dean Heady will officiate, with burial at Corning City Cemetery in Corning, Ark.
