BLOOMFIELD -- Dail Kent Hill, 75, of Pensacola, Fla., died at Baptist Hospital there Saturday, Oct. 26, 1991.
He was born Nov. 14, 1915, at Puxico, son of W.E. and Rose Foster Hill. He and Launa Aslin were married Sept. 14, 1942, in St. Louis.
Hill was a sergant major with Missouri Army National Guard, retiring in 1975.
He had lived here most of his life, moving to Pensacola in 1988. Hill was a member and past master of Blooomfield Masonic Lodge 153 AF&AM, member of Scottish Rite, Valley of St. Louis, and was a charter member of Bloomfield Housing Authority. He was involved in the Boy Scout program several years, and had served on the Stoddard County Workshop Board.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sharon Stokes of Pensacola; a brother, Vern Hill of Lewiston, Mich.; a sister, Bea Zuck of Pontiac, Mich.; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. John Bills will officiate. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery, with full military rites by Missouri National Guard.
