D. Keith Henson

D. Keith Henson, 67, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at his residence.

Keith, son of Dudley Thomas and Hazel Ozell Bishop Henson, was born Saturday, March 30, 1957 in Poplar Bluff.

He was a defense attorney, represented law enforcement and attended the Assembly of God.

Throughout his 40-year career, Keith was frequently honored by Best Lawyers of America and Super Lawyers and was often ranked by St. Louis Magazine as one of St. Louis’ “Top Lawyers” for municipal law.

Keith will be dearly missed.

On Dec. 31, 2023, in Las Vegas, Keith was united in marriage to Jessica Williams. She survives.

Other survivors include two stepsons, Nolan Ellebrecht of Jackson and Todd Bader of Poplar Bluff; nephews, Jerry Henson Jr., Steve Henson and John Henson; and great-nephews, Dakota Henson and Dylan Henson.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles, William, Jerry and Jack Henson.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
