SIKESTON -- Curtis Mac Williams, 76, of Sikeston died Thursday, Sept. 9, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 3, 1923, in Clayton, Miss., son of Lee Andrew and Ethel Robinson Williams. He and Odessie McKenny were married Nov. 9, 1946.
Williams retired as a utility man at National Lock Co. in Sikeston. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Earnest Williams of St. Louis, Charlie Williams of Springfield, Lee Williams of Portland, Ore.; three daughters, Dessie Williams of St. Louis, Betty Robinson and Mary Banks of Sikeston; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 6 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Flem Bronner will officiate. Burial will be in New Morning Star Cemetery at Haywood City.
