ANNA, Ill. -- Curtis Ray Mayberry Sr., 60, of Anna died Monday, Nov. 18, 1996, at Red Hill Health Care Center in Sumner.
He was born Oct. 4, 1936, in Pulaski, the son of Dewey and Bessie Poole Mayberry. He was married to Alice Fay Schlichting on Sept. 25, 1965, in Ullin.
Mayberry was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Anna and was employed at Pope Industries in Paducah, Ky.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Curtis R. Mayberry Jr. of Tamms; a brother, Powell Mayberry of Warrensburg; and three sisters, Shirley Nain of Barlow, Ky., Virginia McKee of East Cape Girardeau and Thula Kerr of Pulaski.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. today.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Kohlmeyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Anna Cemetery.
