Curtis Dwaine Lemons, 65, of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023, at Lutheran Home.
He was born June 24, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Truman and Ruby Lindeman Lemons.
For 30 years, Curtis had worked as a shop foreman for Lemons Coin Machines. He also had worked for seven years at Lewis Brothers Bakery in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He attended Fusion Street Ministries in Advance, Missouri. He enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, music and being with his family.
Survivors include his parents, Truman and Ruby Lemons of Cape Girardeau; son, Erik Lemons of Anna, Illinois; constant companion and friend, Ann Henderschott and her family; three grandchildren, Calley, Josh and Devon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Brandon and Joshua Lemons, and a daughter, Keri Lemons.
A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eric G. Lemons officiating. Burial will follow at Berrong Cemetery in Gipsy, Missouri.
