Curtis Jr. Clymer, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born June 22, 1934, in Commerce, Missouri, to Arthur Earnest and Nora Bell Peel Clymer. He married Marian Jane Knight on March 18, 1955.
Curtis was a truck driver for Eagle Oil & Gas. He was a member of Word of Faith Fellowship in Cape Girardeau and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Marian; a sister, Dorothy Kunz of Pevely, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, nine half brothers and a half sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Don Henson officiating. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
