CURT PALISCH

ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Curt C. Palisch, 85, of Altenburg, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at Sombrillo Nursing Center in Los Alamos, N.M.

He was born Dec. 4, 1915, in Altenburg, son of Carl and Frieda Stueve Palisch. He and Mildred R. Fiehler were married June 1, 1947. She died May 2, 1986.

Palisch was co-owner and operator of the Altenburg Garage. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg, the board of directors of the Bank of Altenburg and a charter member of the Altenburg Lions Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Berkbigler of Los Alamos; and two sisters, Eleonora Wunderlich of Altenburg and Flora Blythe of Perryville, Mo.

He was preceded in death by a son and his parents.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Friday and 6:30 to noon Saturday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wayne Palmer will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
