CRYSTAL WRIGHT

CHARLESTON -- Crystal A. Berry Wright, 86, formerly of Charleston, died Friday, Sept. 27, 1996, at Bertrand Nursing Facility.

She was born April 21, 1910, in the Crosno community of Mississippi County, daughter of John and Ella Harp Reno. She and Press Berry Sr. were married April 2, 1928. He died March 6, 1981.

A lifelong resident of Mississippi County, she was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Charleston, and former member of Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include two sons, Press Berry Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Bob Berry of Charleston; a daughter, Edith Lee of Charleston; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters, and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Collier officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
