C.P. "Tubby" Koch, 84, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Aug. 5, 1991, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.
He was born March 13, 1907, in Cape Girardeau, son of Henry and Pauline Sailer Koch. He and Mary Elizabeth Hahn were married March 13, 1933, in Cape Girardeau. She died Aug. 27, 1987.
Koch was employed in the petroleum industry 50 years, having been an agent with Conoco, Texaco and Bender Oil Companies. He was a member of First Baptist Church here.
Survivors include two sons, Jack S. Hinton of Cape Girardeau, Donald P. Koch of Carlyle, Ill.; a sister, Geraldine "Babe" Koch of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and seven sisters.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Andy Pratt will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
