COVA M. ROSS

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Cova M. Ross of Sikeston will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Ross, 80, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 1994, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

She was born March 14, 1913, in Advance, daughter of Grant and Rose Ella Dunlap Tanner. She and Marvin W. Ross were married Jan. 12, 1929, at Bell City. He died Sept. 8, 1972.

Ross was a charter member of Saucedo Baptist Church. She was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church and sang in the Golden Age Choir.

Survivors include four daughters, Betty Bohannon of Sikeston, Carol Bryeans of Bloomfield, Karen Frazer of Kuttawa, Ky., Donnis Elliott of Mansfield; a sister, Nola Masen of St. Clair Shores, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters and two granddaughters.
