OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Courtney Phillips, 21, of Olive Branch died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, in an auto accident near Olive Branch.
He was born Aug. 22, 1978, at Cape Girardeau, son of Harold Eugene and Rebecca Lynn Jackson Phillips.
He worked in construction and enjoyed motorcycling and skateboarding.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Becky and Eddie Butler of Olive Branch; his father and stepmother, Harold "Buck" and Debbie Phillips of Blandville, Ky.; a brother, Brian Phillips of Cape Girardeau; a stepsister, Rhonda Jackson of Cairo, Ill.; maternal grandmother, Marie Jackson of Olive Branch; paternal grandparents, Gene and Jeanette Phillips of Tamms, Ill.; and stepgrandmother, Iva Louise Tyler of Tamms.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home at Tamms.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Billy Don Heady officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes, Ill.
