ORAN -- Cosette Robinson, 78, of Oran, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Oct. 7, 1912, at Sikeston, daughter of Earnest and Arminta Hutchinson Springs Sr. She married G.W. "Bozo" Robinson Sr. June 30, 1934. He died Sept. 28, 1982.
Robinson had lived at Oran since 1962. She and her husband owned and operated Robinson's Grocery at Oran 20 years. They also formerly owned and operated Home Oil Cafe and Robinson's Trucking at Charleston, and Dexter Auction Co. at Dexter. She was a member of Morley Order of Eastern Star, and First Baptist Church at Oran.
Survivors include a son, G.W. "Rob" Robinson Jr. of Fellows, Calif.; a daughter, Joyce Bowen of Fellows; two brothers, Harold and C.D. "Cotton" Springs of Sikeston; five grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a great-grandson.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Jack Bishop will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today. An Order of Eastern Star service will be held at 7.
