CORNELIA N. SANDER

RICHARDSON, Texas -- Cornelia N. Sander, 91, of Richardson died Friday Oct. 6, 1995, at the Plano Hospital in Plano, Texas.

She was born Oct. 19, 1903, in Gordonville, daughter of the late Edward H. and Emma Glucksherty Kerstner. She married Lawrence A. Sander on July 27, 1929. He preceded her in death in 1951.

Sander was baptized in the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Gordonville and became a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in 1917. She attended St. Paul Lutheran School and later attended Southeast Missouri State University for two years. She worked for a number of years for the former Kerstner Rexall Drug Store.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Stehr of Dallas; a sister, Dorothy Bromer of San Diego; three grandchildren, Lorie Arden of San Mateo, Calif., and Paul Stehr and Mark Stehr, both of Dallas; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Kerstner.

Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., with Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
