Gockel, 94, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1993, at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Wash.
She was born Jan. 27, 1899, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Anton and Clara Ermertz Gockel.

Gockel had lived here 91 years, and was a business education teacher 47 years at Central High School.
Survivors include two nieces and six nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
