ULLIN, Ill. -- Conrad LeRoy Miller, 89, of Ullin passed away Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, at his residence. Born March 1, 1928, in McClure, Illinois, he was the son of the late Charles Raymond Miller and Bertha Rhymer Miller. He was co-owner and operator of Ullin Body Shop from 1952 until 1993. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Ullin, where he was a Deacon and Sunday school teacher, and he was an Army veteran...

ULLIN, Ill. -- Conrad LeRoy Miller, 89, of Ullin passed away Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, at his residence.

Born March 1, 1928, in McClure, Illinois, he was the son of the late Charles Raymond Miller and Bertha Rhymer Miller.

He was co-owner and operator of Ullin Body Shop from 1952 until 1993. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Ullin, where he was a Deacon and Sunday school teacher, and he was an Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, LaVerne Miller on Feb. 11, 2017; brothers, Charles, Gordon and Paul Miller; and a sister, Delores Eudy.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Miller of Ullin and Sharon (Mark) West of Denver; a son, Richard (Dianne) Miller of Villa Ridge; three granddaughters, Jennifer Miller, Rebecca Miller and Josie Miller; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Ullin.

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Clint Nale officiating. Interment will be in Cache Chapel Cemetery east of Ullin.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorials to First Baptist Church in Ullin, P.O. Box 172, Ullin, Ill. 62992 in memory of Conrad Miller.

The family would like to thank Celtic Hospice and friends and family for the special care given to dad.
