Connie Watkins

ORAN, Mo. -- Connie Kaye Watkins, 56, of Oran died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at her home.

She was born Aug. 6, 1955, in Leslie, Ark., to J. D. and Thelma Tester Hilton. She was raised by Larry and Florence Taylor. She married Junior Watkins on June 7, 1971, in Oran.

Connie is survived by her husband; a son, Danny (Tracy) Watkins of Jackson; a daughter, Anita (James) Mulcahy of Jackson; four grandchildren, Amber and Ethan Watkins and Kaitlyn and Sara Mulcahy; four sisters, Sharon Rich and Anita Kunath, both of Waukegan, Ill., Ann Crites of Jackson and Noma Colangelo of Miami.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mike Watkins; a granddaughter, Rebecca Watkins; two brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, Mo., with the Rev. Larry Jackson officiating.
