Connie Jo Doty Morton, 50, of Riverside, Calif., went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, friends and pets.
She was born May 27, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, the only child of Bill and Bette Doty. She moved to Riverside in 1967 and graduated from Rubidoux High School in 1974, and the RCC nursing program in 1990.
Connie was a dedicated and caring nurse 15 years at Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Bette Doty-Cifra and Mike Cifra of Riverside; a daughter, Jodie Bunn and husband Jason of Hesperia, Calif.; a son, Levi Morton and wife Cheryl of Riverside; two grandsons, Jason and Willy; and godparents, Fred and Ruth Waugh of Riverside.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Connie leaves behind countless friends and relatives who will greatly miss her contagious laugh and caring heart.
She was a member of Harvest Christian Fellowship since it began in Riverside, and a member of Gospel Choir.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Harvest Fellowship, with the pastor, Ralph Arthur, officiating.
Inland Memorial in Riverside is in charge of arrangements.
