PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Connie R. Masters, 47, of Arcadia, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2002, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis County.
She was born Dec. 14, 1954, in Redbud, Ill., daughter of David L. and Violet M. Fortner Turner. She and James Masters were married Dec. 31, 1997, in Blytheville, Ark.
Masters was vice president of M&H Pallet, and served on the Iron County Economic Development Board of Directors.
She was formerly of Perryville. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary 900 in McClure, Ill., Arcadia Valley Chamber of Commerce, and charter member of Perry County Democratic Women's Club, serving as vice president. She was a former officer of Eighth District Democratic Women's Club.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Jeff Baker and Joshua Masters of Arcadia, James Falkenburry of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; three daughters, Beverly Likert of Bellevue, Neb., Jacqueline Masters of Arcadia, Jillian Masters of Columbia, Mo.; her mother of Florida; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and after 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Cripps officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Chester, Ill.
