COLLIN BOYD

CARTERVILLE, Ill. -- Graveside service for Collin "Jerry" Boyd of Lexington, Ky., will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Anna Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Shacklee will officiate, with military rites conducted by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.

Crain Funeral Home of Anna is in charge of arrangements.

Boyd, 89, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1993, at Wilmore VA Nursing Center in Wilmore, Ky.

He was born Sept. 16, 1904, in Carterville, son of Jonothan B. and Mary Ellen Watkins Boyd. He married the former Doris Wiedemann.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Helen Hardcastle of Anaheim, Calif., Renee Boyd of Richmond, Ky.; two sons, Richard Boyd of Carterville, Collin Boyd of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; a brother, Harmon Boyd of Terre Haute, Ind., and a sister, Fern Davis of Terre Haute.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
