Colleen A. Weisenborn, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Jan. 31, 1929, at Whitewater, daughter of Leo E. and Freida A. Maag Nussbaum. She and Charles R. Weisenborn were married April 5, 1975, at Gordonville. He died April 19, 1984.
Weisenborn was an inspector at Florsheim Shoe Co., had worked at Al's Midtown, the Lutheran Home and Litz Brothers Poultry Plant. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville.
Survivors include a son, Gary Mungle of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Peggy Ahrens of Friedheim, Mo., Wanda Blankenship of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Robert Nussbaum of Jackson; seven sisters, Dorothy Latko of St. Louis, Glaydes Kramer of St. Charles, Mo., Joan Burns, Viola Sadler and Faye Amelunke of Jackson, Lora Henk of Marble Hill, Mo., Vanna Holt of Sedgewickville, Mo.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and eight great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, two brothers and a stepgrandson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Gary Hoffstetter officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
