COENA M. LANIER

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral mass for Coena M. LaNier of Fairmont City, Ill., was held Saturday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Charles Rice officiated, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Young and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

LaNier, 68, died Thursday, July 30, 1992, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, Ill.

She was born Feb. 28, 1924, at Menfro, daughter of Clement Sylvester and Pauline Mary Schroeder Gibbar.

LaNier was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Fairmont City.

Survivors include a daughter, Michelle LaNier of Fairmont City; a brother, Clem Gibbar of Metairie, La.; four sisters, Vivian Beck of Fairmont City, Virgie Reiss, Alvera Moll and Dorothy Moore of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and three sisters.
