CASEYVILLE, Ill. -- Clyde A. Trucks, 74, of Caseyville died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Ill.
He was born Jan. 7, 1930, in St. Louis, son of Clyde and Mildred Granamen Trucks. He married Shirley Wright.
Mr. Trucks was a retired train engineer and road foreman with Terminal Railroad.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Susan (Todd) Greiner of Marion, Ill., Anita (Jim) Robbs of Hamel, Ill.; two sons, Clyde (Nancy) Trucks of Farmington, Minn., Steven (Patty) Trucks of Inwood, W.Va.; his mother, Mildred Sweetman of Hollister, Mo.; two sisters, Virginia Clifford of Hollister, Martha Fisher of Alton; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill., from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor Todd Greiner officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Ill.
Memorials may be made to Barnes Jewish Children's Hospice or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
