SIKESTON -- Clyde S. Wilson, 66, of Sikeston, died Monday, June 22, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 7, 1925, at Portageville, son of Clyde S. and Vesta Pearl Smith Wilson. He and Nellie Miller were married Dec. 15, 1942, at Portageville.
Wilson had been in real estate and land development, had farmed, and had worked at Continental Financial Corp. He was a member of Tanner Street Church of God, and charter member and past exalted ruler of Sikeston Elks Lodge. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Donna Stallings of Sikeston, Brenda Melcher of Normal, Ill.; four sisters, Willene Brooks, Geraldine Adams and Margie Todd of Hot Springs, Ark., Lois Hovland of Bakersfield, Calif., and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, sister and brother.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Carl Addison officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
