CLYDE ROUSSEAU

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral Mass for Clyde T. Rousseau will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake and KC service is at 7 tonight, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Rousseau, 70, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 1997, at his home.

He was born April 10, 1927, in Perry County, son of Frank and Mary H. Klump Rousseau. He and Mary A. Lawrence were married June 3, 1950, at Perryville.

Rousseau had worked in maintenance at LaRoche Industries in Festus. He was a member of St. Vincent's Church, Perryville Elks Lodge 2701, and was a 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus. He served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his wife; eight daughters, Linda Ernst of St. Louis, Gail Blandford, Cheryl Hart, Denise Meyer, Patricia Tanz, Darlene Meyer, Barbara Meyer and Mary Bockman, all of Perryville; three sons, Michael, David and Robert Rousseau, all of Perryville; three brothers, Merlin, Lester and Robert Rousseau, all of Perryville; two sisters, Marie Rousseau and Helen Morgan of Perryville; 32 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and two grandchildren.
