Clyde L. Trickey Sr., 65, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born June 19, 1933, in Cape Girardeau County, son of John William and Laura Medlock Trickey.
He married Norma B. Kaufmann June 30, 1956, at Evangelical United Church of Christ in Cape Girardeau.
He was born and raised in the Neely's Landing area and moved to Cape Girardeau in the early 1950s.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955.
He worked as an extruder operator at Atlas Plastics, now Spartech Plastic, from 1965 until his death.
Survivors include his wife, of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Clyde L. Trickey Jr. of Round Rock, Texas, and Dennis L. Trickey of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Donna K. Trickey of Round Rock, Texas; one brother, Archie Trickey of Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister, Agnes Karraker of St. Charles; and two grandchildren.
One sister preceded him in death.
Visitation is today from 4-8 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Funeral will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. James Caughlan officiating. Burial will follow at St. James Evangelical Church Cemetery in Tilsit.
