ANNA, Ill. -- Clyde Henderson, 83, of Anna died Sunday, July 20, 2003, at Union County Hospital. He was born Aug. 6, 1919, in Anna, son of Millard and Rosa Miller Henderson. ANNA, Ill. -- Clyde Henderson, 83, of Anna died Sunday, July 20, 2003, at Union County Hospital.

He was born Aug. 6, 1919, in Anna, son of Millard and Rosa Miller Henderson. He and Lillian Porterfield were married June 8, 1940.

Henderson was a heavy equipment operator with Union County Highway Department. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 318.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sue Blevins and Peggy Hileman of Jonesboro, Ill.; a sister, Ruby Hargrove of Tamms, Ill.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and until time of service Wednesday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Hart officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
