Clyde Eftink
ORAN, Mo. -- Clyde William Eftink, 73, of Oran died Friday, June 27, 2008, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.
He was born March 26, 1935, in Oran, son of William George and Christine Josephine Nance Eftink.
He and Verneda Kluesner were married April 30, 1955.
Eftink was a retired farmer. He was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, St. Joseph Sodality, a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4311 in Oran and a charter member of the Oran Junior Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Carol Beussink and Ruth Paxton of Oran; a brother, Bill Eftink of Prole, Iowa; two sisters, Irene Hotop of St. Louis, Rosemary Lane of Jefferson City, Mo.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death in by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. Parish Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at the church, followed by a Knights of Columbus prayer at 7:15 p.m.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Revs. John Harth and Normand Varone officiating.
Interment will be in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery.
