ULLIN, Ill. -- Clinton Ryan, 67, of Ullin died Monday, Dec. 15, 1997, on arrival at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.
He was born Feb. 27, 1930, at Ullin, son of Oscar and Florence Aldrich Ryan. He and Margaret Johnson were married May 31, 1968, in Metropolis.
Ryan was employed at Cheek's Service Station in Ullin 19 years. He was a member of Woodmen of the World Lodge 5657 at Karnak.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Roy Ryan of Arizona, Pete Ryan of Grand Chain; three daughters, Doris Cooper of Mankato, Minn., Rose Melvin of Weaubleau, Susan Marsh of Buncombe; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara; two brothers, and a sister.
Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Joey Dunning will officiate, with burial in Cache Chapel Cemetery east of Ullin.
