PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Clinton H. Rabold, 90, of Perryville died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 24, 1923, in New Wells, son of Fred F. and Hilda Koenig Rabold. He and Rose M. Perr were married July 22, 1950.
Clinton was a construction worker and a livestock farmer. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, loved to hunt, fish, farm and tell stories.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Dennis (Kathryn) Rabold of Iberia, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Rabold of Bloomsdale, Missouri; a nephew, Robert Schuessler of Frohna, Missouri; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Larry; and two sisters, Larcy Lane and Mildred Schuessler.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Church Cemetery with military honors provided by VFW and Delta Team.
Memorials are preferred to Veterans Affairs and the Lutheran Home.
