Clinton Lincoln, 75, of Cape Girardeau, died Oct. 16, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born April 18, 1919, at Shrum, son of Moses and Fannie Patton Lincoln. On June 10, 1939, he married Opal Cook.
He was a retired auto body mechanic and had worked for Ford Groves Motor Co. from 1938 to 1984.
He was a member of the New Life World Outreach Center, and the Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union of St. Louis.
He was active for many years in gospel and bluegrass music, singing with the Evening Light Trio on KGMO Radio.
Survivors are his wife; three sons, Fred Lincoln of Memphis, Tenn., Jerry Lincoln of Jerseyville, Ill., and Gregory Lincoln of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Carolyn Johnson of Lincoln, Neb.; a brother, Claude Lincoln of Marble Hill; two sisters, Millie James and Beatrice Welker, both of Marble Hill; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Friends may call today after 4 p.m. at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jack Cathcart and John Gourley officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery near Marble Hill.
