SCOTT CITY -- Clifton Ray Lott, 67, of Scott City died Friday, May 12, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 6, 1933, at Anna, Ill., son of John Calvin Sr. and Sarah Ann Reynolds Lott. He and Loretta King were married May 18, 1956 at Corinth, Miss.
Lott retired as a superintendent from Florshiem Shoe Co., where he worked for 45 years. He attended First Baptist Church in Scott City and was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church in Anna. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Randall Lott of Wahiawa, Hawaii, and Richard Lott of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Robin Arnold of Scott City and Rhonda Vandergriff of Jackson; one brother, John C. Lott Jr. of Chester, Ill.; one sister, Earlene Osman of Anna, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
